I have to admit this is one of my favorite stories that I’ve written over the past few years. It’s short and tight and was really a blast to write and brainstorm. “A Reason to Linger” can now be found in At Year’s End: Holiday SFF Stories, the e-book anthology that Kazka Press published on 12/12/2012.
I’ve already started reading through the collection and thoroughly enjoyed the stories I’ve read so far. Alex Shvartzman‘s “Nuclear Family” was as touching and resonant this time as the first time I read it when Kasma SF published it awhile back. Beth Cato‘s “A Unicorn for Christmas” caught me completely off guard and definitely elicited a laugh at the end. All in all, definitely a great and varied collection and I’d recommend it to any fan of speculative fiction looking for a holiday themed, fast-paced read.
This marks my twenty-seventh story published and my third story published by the excellent folks over at Kazka Press.
Thanks for reading!
