All has been quiet on the blog for quite awhile, and for that I apologize. Fear not, I’m still writing and actively submitting. Like a maniac, actually. I’ve just been waiting on another publication or similar to post.
So, without further ado, I can direct you to Mad Scientist Journal. This is a fantastic publication, with a very unique and entertaining premise. They publish story “by” Mad Scientist-types. Each story on their site has a fictional author as well as a real author. Stories are often told from the Mad Scientist’s point of view, through letters, research papers, etc.
Mad Scientist Journal seemed like the perfect magazine to send my epistolary short story, “The Writings of Brigham Worthing“. I wrote this story last May during the Story-a-Day May challenge that I’m always raving about. The challenge for that day was to write an epistolary story (one told through letters, journal entries, emails, texts, etc). I added onto that prompt a photo prompt from my Pinterest board, linked here.
Anyway, thanks for stopping in again. Be sure to check out the Mad Scientist Journal. Read, share and comment if you feel so inclined — you have no idea how uplifting readers’ comments can be to an author!
