Sunday’s almost over by now, but I thought I’d drop by to update you folks on the fourth week of Story-a-Day May 2013.
Speculative fiction dominated the stories this week — 5 speculative and only 2 “general” or “literary” stories. Most stories were around 1,500-2,00o words, with one around 600 and one of 5,100.
Last week I’d mentioned starting to feel the wear and tear of this challenge. It’s definitely beginning to show, I believe, as quality diminishes in these stories. Still — Story-a-Day has always been about quantity, as quality can always be adjusted later.
So…back to the details!
