“Charging the Silver Slope” Published at Every Day Fiction

Delighted to announce that my flash fiction piece, “Charging the Silver Slope“, is now available to read (for free!) online at Every Day Fiction.  It’s a short piece, under a thousand words, and I had a lot of fun writing it.  The folks over at EDF were a pleasure to work with.  I’m enjoying reading the comments on my story — most positive, some negative, some inbetween — as it’s something I haven’t ever had much with my published stories.  If people read them, they don’t normally say anything.

In fact, the comments and readers are part of what drew me to submit to Every Day Fiction to begin with.  I enjoyed writing the piece and wanted to share it with an established audience, one I could count on for some feedback.  I mentioned there are some negative comments, but honestly I’m glad for them too.  It’s something I haven’t really faced yet as a writer, and I’m always eager to experience more and learn more in this journey.

So thanks for stopping by.  Please, if you’ve got a few moments, stop on by EDF and give my story a read.  Comment if you want to — and don’t be afraid to tell me what you really think.  I don’t mind. 🙂

Regards,

Alexis A. Hunter
