“The Clock Has Ceased Its Ticking” Published in Spark: A Creative Anthology, Volume V

It’s that wonderful time again — Spark: A Creative Anthology has released their latest, Volume V.  I’m honored to share the pages of this installment with such talented authors as George WellsBeth Cato, and more.  Plus, just look at this delicious cover art by Casey Robin.

As most of you know, I’ve been a Spark contributor from the get-go.  My weird western series — “By the Gun” played out over the course of their first four volumes.  In Volume V, I take a break from the genre scene with “The Clock Has Ceased Its Ticking”.  This long-titled son of a gun means a lot to me.  The main character is based on a very dear woman I know in ‘real life’, and have known since I was a small child.  While the plot itself is fictional and many other elements of the character herself are also ‘fake’, I really enjoyed snatching little bits and pieces of the person I know and love and working them into the story.  So this story means a lot to me.  I hope others will enjoy reading it as much I enjoyed writing it.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out Volume V here — I’ll update here when it’s available on Amazon.
